Becoming Earthly is a weekly discussion series about collectively rethinking our position on this planet in the face of the current environmental emergency. Our purpose can be summed up as “cultivating consciousness through conversation”.
The collective is spread across 4 timezones: as such, our discussions have always been held online, through video calls. The typical format is a 1:30 hour call with a 10 min break in the middle. In the past year and a half of Becoming Earthly, we have explored a wide range of themes, from entanglement, emergence or agency to composting, healing, or “sentipensar”.
We would like to invite IAM weekend participants to join the conversation and share their perspectives on what it means to “become Earthly”. As facilitators, we will hold the space for all to show up as their whole selves, with openness, presence and vulnerability.
We have documented our Becoming Earthly journey extensively throughout the years and are in the process of creating an online archive to share it with the world. In the meantime, we would be happy to share some creative outputs of our conversations.
